The village Sunday extends with the small place Buchboden on both sides of the valley, and is with 81 km², the eighth largest village in Vorarlberg. In the municipal area Sonntag is the biggest crop protection area of the country - it covers the entire valley between the mountains Blasenka - Rothorn and Rote Wand (6,402 ha).
